Tips:
- Be sure to pronounce the final “t,” or the word will sound like “guess.”
- In the plural, “guests,” sustain the first “s” slightly and then pronounce the final letters “ts” as one sound /ts/, as shown in the second practice sentence. Be sure to stop the “t” /t̚ /, or the word, again, will sound like “guess.”
