Tips:

  • Pronounce the letters “ch” as a stopped “k”—//—that is, stop-but-do-not-explode the “k”, releasing the air on the following consonant—
    /n/.
  • Pronounce the letter “i” like the name of the letter “e”—
    /i/—and stress it.
  • Pronounce the letter “q” as
    /k/.
  • Do not pronounce the final letters “ue.”
